Portrait - Lucas Dahir
Can you introduce yourself in a few words?
Hello, I'm Lucas Dahir, paraglider pilot from Argentina. Passionate about free flight , nature and personal challenges. I love connecting with people from different cultures through this beautiful sport.
When and how did you learn to fly?
I started flying 9 years ago, driven by curiosity, the desire for freedom and the desire to combine several disciplines such as climbing, skiing and cross-country flight .
Right from the start, I understood that it wasn't just a sport, but a way of life. I was trained by professional instructors, and since then I've continued to learn and fly in a wide variety of places.
What are your projects, inside and outside the paraglider ?
In paraglider, my aim is to continue to progress as a pilot, take part in events and projects that help me evolve, and pass on this passion. Outside flight, I'm interested in everything to do with well-being, active living and connecting with nature.
Do you have any flight memories to share?
Yes, several, but two in particular: in El Chaltén (Argentina) and Chamonix (France), two mythical places with spectacular scenery, rich in climbing routes and glaciers. On these flights, I felt in total harmony with the environment. These are moments when everything aligns: weather, landscape, state of mind.
flight allows me to dream, to link different disciplines, and this feeds my projects and dreams, which I'm realizing little by little.
Where can we follow your adventures (on which social networks)?
You can follow me on Instagram: @lucasdahir or @brechit.a, where I share images, stories and reflections on my flights and experiences.
