Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

Hello, I'm Lucas Dahir, an Argentine paraglider. I'm passionate about free flight, nature, and personal challenges. I enjoy connecting with people from different cultures through this wonderful sport.

When and how did you learn to fly?

I started flying 9 years ago, driven by curiosity, a desire for freedom, and the urge to combine several disciplines, such as rock climbing, skiing, and cross-country flying.

Right from the start, I realized that this wasn't just a sport, but a true way of life. I was trained by professional instructors, and since then, I've continued to learn and fly in a wide variety of locations.

What are your plans, both in and outside of paragliding?

In paragliding, my goal is to continue improving as a pilot, participate in events and projects that help me grow, and share this passion with others. Outside of flying, I’m interested in everything related to well-being, an active lifestyle, and connecting with nature.

Do you have a memorable flying experience you'd like to share with us?

Yes, there are several, but two in particular: El Chaltén (Argentina) and Chamonix (France), two legendary places with spectacular landscapes, abundant climbing routes, and glaciers. During those flights, I felt completely at one with my surroundings. Those are moments when everything comes together: the weather, the landscape, and my state of mind.

Flying allows me to dream and to connect different disciplines, and that fuels my projects and dreams, which I’m gradually bringing to life.
