About
The DELIGHT was born out of a very specific context: the X-Alps, where every gram counts and where equipment must meet extreme demands. The first generations were therefore very lightweight harnesses, designed for hike-and-fly competitions.Over time, the product’s philosophy has evolved. The DELIGHT has gradually transformed into an accessible cross-country harness, capable of supporting a wider range of pilots.Since the third generation, the goal has been clear: to offer a reassuring, comfortable, and user-friendly harness. The DELIGHT 5 fully embodies this philosophy.Previous generations have gradually gained in comfort and features, which has been accompanied by an increase in weight. With the DELIGHT 5, the design team took the opposite approach: reducing weight while maintaining the level of comfort and protection achieved in the previous generation. The result: approximately 450 g lighter than a DELIGHT 4—a reduction of nearly 10%—without compromising durability or the quality of support.
The DELIGHT series is built around a distinctive structure designed to prioritize stability. The seat plate provides clear feedback and firm support, allowing the pilot to stay focused on their trajectory without being disturbed by unwanted movements. The harness acts as a filter between the pilot and the wing. It smooths out the feedback, delivering a more relaxed flying experience, especially with modern gliders that tend to be highly responsive. The DELIGHT 5's enveloping cocoon is designed to provide precise and long-lasting support. The full-length PLASTAZOTE© back protector protects the pilot from the neck down to the lower thighs, using high-performance structural foam that is effective immediately after deployment, regardless of the angle of impact. 3.23 kg in size S, 3.4 kg in size M, 3.72 kg in size L, and 3.8 kg in size XL. It is about 450 g lighter than the DELIGHT 4, which is a weight reduction of nearly 10%.
Full BUMPAIR protection made of PLASTAZOTE©, protecting the pilot from the neck down to the lower thighs. It is effective as soon as it comes out of the bag, whatever the direction of impact. It folds out, so it packs compactly into the rucksack. The anti-fall system is certified to 450 kg.
S: 155 to 170 cm and 60 to 80 kg. M: 165 to 180 cm and 65 to 85 kg. L: 180 to 190 cm and 70 to 95 kg. XL: over 190 cm and over 90 kg. We recommend trying on the harness at a Supair retailer.
The reserve container takes a 2 to 5.3 L reserve parachute, and installation requires no tools. After installation, always do a deployment test in flying configuration.
