About the ALTIRANDO LITE 2
Following the success of the ALTIRANDO LITE, the designers on the Supair team faced the challenge of creating an reversible harness worthy of succeeding the first generation. Drawing inspiration from past successes while also considering potential improvements to previous products, the design of the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 was born. The result is a lighter, better -equipped, and easier-to-use platform-style “reversible harness .”
This harness is for pilots who are progressing and want to practice hike & fly or travel with their paraglider.
Its light composition and reversible structure make it an ideal choice for a hike & fly practice. Indeed, the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 aims to offer you the best possible equipment, whether you are walking or hiking, by proposing both a comfortable harness with a high level of passive safety, as well as a real comfortable-to-wear backpack , ideal for hiking, which adapts perfectly to your morphology.
The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 is equipped with a pre-formed subcutaneous airbag that ensures a High level of passive safety from takeoff. The reserve pocket is also positioned under the seat. Its design has been worked out for a simple installation of the parachute in the pocket and to eliminate any risk of involuntary opening of the pocket.
Thanks to its hybrid seat , this harness combines the comfort of a plate harness and the safety of a legstrap harness. The closure of the belly strap is done with two Cobra automatic buckles for an easier and safer installation in the harness.
The backpack is designed for comfortable carrying and comes with plenty of storage options so you won’t even notice the weight of your gear while hiking. The shoulder straps are designed to offer plenty of storage space, whether for your accessories or for staying hydrated during the climb. The backpack’s roll-top closure allows you to adjust the bag’s volume to fit your gear, ensuring compact and efficient storage. Note that the backpack is removable and can be detached from the harness as needed.
Lighter than the ALTIRANDO LITE 1 and yet better accessorized, the 2nd generation of the range is a versatile harness that will adapt to your needs, whether on the ground or in the air.

FOCUS ON THE SEAT
When Lightness Meets Comfort
Despite the harness’s lightweight construction, the designers wanted to keep in-flight comfort at the heart of the ALTIRANDO LITE 2’s design.
To do so, the seat of the harness combines plate and legstraps. The plate guarantees a great precision of piloting while the legstraps ensures a better safety to allow you to pilot serenely and comfortably.
The backrest is cut into different panels to perfectly fit your morphology without pressure points that could bother you. This cut of the backrest also allows to lighten the harness without impacting the comfort.
Compared to the first generation of the ALTIRANDO LITE, a lumbar adjustment has been added for an even more precise adjustment of the harness to the curves of your back.
There is a zippered pocket on the left side of the harness to keep your belongings within easy reach.
The outlet for the CamelBak hose is located at the left shoulder of the harness, while the right shoulder strap has a spot where you can attach a vario.
The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 offers a better balance of weight and comfort than the first generation, with a lighter design that doesn't compromise in-flight comfort.
Safety so you can fly with peace of mind
To strap into the harness easily and safely, the waistbelt fastens with two Cobra buckles. This type of fastener makes it quick andeasy to fasten the waistbelt and theleg leg straps .
The harness is equipped with a pre-formed airbag protection system featuring a rigid frame that provides protection from the moment you take off.
Just like the first generation, the ALTIRANDO LITE 2 features a subcutaneous emergency pocket built into the harness.
To assemble your reserve parachute, all you need is the piece of cord found in the emergency riser sleeve of your harness. The assembly process has been designed so that you can set it up anywhere—whether in a workshop, at home, or outdoors.
The pouch is secured with zippers and cables to keep the emergency kit safe and prevent the pouch from opening accidentally.

A backpack designed for hiking…
The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 is a reversible harness that aims to be as comfortable on flight as it is on foot.
To do so, the accessorization of the bag has been improved to offer you many storage spaces.
Each shoulder strap has a pocket with a leash, allowing you to store various accessories while keeping them secure. For example, you can put a flask or a water bottle in it so you always have water within reach.
Two pockets are also available on the side of the bag, one is zipped to store your stuff and the second is open to potentially hold a pair of poles or any other item you want to keep easily accessible.
The belt also has a zippered pocket on the right side.

The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 backpack comes in two sizes, depending on the size of the harness you choose. The backpack included with sizes S and M has a volume of 70 L, while the backpack included with sizes L and XL has a volume of 90 L.
However, the difference isn't limited to the bags' capacity; the backrest is also sized differently to fit your body type.
You can adjust the length of the shoulder straps, the load-distribution straps, the chest strap, and the waist belt.
Also note that the belt is removable and can be removed if your bag is lightly loaded and you want to transfer the weight of the bag higher on your back, like a trail bag.

The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 now features a roll-top closure.
Not only is it easy to handle, but it also allows your bag to adjust to the amount of gear you're carrying.
Indeed, you can carry a school wing as well as a small mountain glider while keeping a compact equipment for a more comfortable carrying.
In addition to the roll-top closure, the bag opens with two zippers, making it easy to access your gear.
ALTIRANDO LITE 2: More than just a reversible harness
The ALTIRANDO LITE 2 bag is removable and can be detached from the harness.
This allows you to benefit from a lighterharness when you do not practice hike & fly. This slight weight gain can allow you to gain mobility for inflating sessions or school slopes, for example.
Both components are designed to work together but can be used separately: the harness can be flown without the pack, and the pack can be used independently of the harness.
The harness and backpack are easily connected using two zippers.
