Following 2 incidents involving pilots tandem gliders, our investigations (carried out in conjunction with the Swiss laboratory Air Turquoise) have revealed no particular defects. We are now investigating further, in order to understand what happened and determine whether it was a combination of circumstances or a specific problem.
Pending the outcome of our investigation, of which you will be fully informed, we ask you to refrain from using your glider SORA 2 - Size 42.
We are aware of the inconvenience caused by our request, but whenever there is the slightest suspicion linked to safety, the precautionary principle must apply.
